Instant Steam Market sales...and I do mean 'instant'!
Are people using a bot or something? Let me explain...

If you sell something you know is ridiculously cheap on the market, it's bought as soon as you press 'OK' to sell it. I mean wa-a-y quicker than it would take someone to click on the item, tick the box and press buy.

I first noticed it selling trading cards. They sell quick enough anyway at a penny below the norm, but a couple below? Man, they're gone before your finger leaves the keyboard. What's going on here?

Yes, they are a lot of (mostly Russian i heard) people who use bots to buy cheapest and sell it for more.
And yes, Valve/Steam does not care.

I'll generally sell my cards for a few pennies lower than the cheapest recent sale... and I typically don't have to wait more than a few minutes to get the money in my wallet. Thank you Russian market botters!

This thread seemed overdue a comment.

So you're welcome. On behalf of Russian market botters everywhere.

We're going to lock this thread up so it doesn't get necro'd again in the future. Thanks for your understanding.
