Using a Ps3 afterglow controller for Skyrim on my PC?

Hey, Im rachel.
I have a Gamestop afterglow controller for PS3 that im trying to use on my PC for Skyrim. Yes, I tried downloading Motioninjoy, what a surprise that it didn't work, with it being Chinese spyware. But all i want to do is just play my Skyrim and i'll be happy. PLEASEEE HELP MEEEE :( Skyrim needs their Dragonborn!!

If Motionjoy doesn't work, it's not likely anything else will work either since the other alternatives (of which there are very few) are based on their drivers.

Im not sure if im doing it right though. I downloaded it and it looked like the program wont load completely if that makes sense. I know its supposed to be green and have ads but mine is just links that dont really do anything lol

Download Motioninjoy from its official site, here: Click me[www.xinputer.com]

After installation, launch DS3 Tool.exe
Go to Driver Manager -> Dualshock 3 -> (Install either USB or BT -drivers)
Install

Then just get BetterDS3 from http://betterds3.ciebiera.net/ and use that instead of the DS3 Tool.exe, don't uninstall MotioninJoy. You will still need the drivers anyway, but you can avoid the spyware stuff by launching an offline executable using its drivers.

motionjoy dosen't even work and most of us are probably not gonna download 2 other things to use 1 of them.

Yes, buy a controller that is actually properly supported on PC.

big picture mode - settings - controller settings - click all the controller support on - whatever the bottom clickable thing is... i think its add a controller but since i did it it has changed to whatever i named the controller. sorry if its too late and you don't need this anymore but my afterglow ps3 controller works for games now and i love it.

i use an xbox one afterglow controller on desktop gaming pc, plug in play. i recommend you trade up for this. i use it to play all my steam games.

k... i fixed it for real now... go to the big picture controller settings and uncheck the all but the 1st one and what it says your controller is... it says mine is a generic one so i checked that one... hope yours works now :)
