Play US purchased game In the UK?

So I bought saints row 4 from amazon. Digital download so I have the code. But it's for US only and I need it to play in the UK. Is there a work around for this?

If it works awesome, if it doesn't, tough luck the store page clearly says "Note: Currently, this item is available only to customers located in the United States and who have a U.S. billing address."

yea i know. It was a mistake. But there has to be some work around. Im not trying to rip anything off. i bought the game. Just need it to work in the UK.

Go to the US and activate it. Any other workarounds are not allowed according to the EULA and risk your account

Even if you were to activate it in the US, chances are it still wouldn't work. Depends how strict Deep Silver are with the region blocking.

The European version got censored so I would imagine it's pretty tight.

If you can't activate it, you're simply just out of luck. It did warn you before you bought it, so you really don't have any other course of action other than to beg Amazon for a refund.

Even if u activated within the USA, it won't work outside such country if such game restrictions apply. Due to going to another country would mean that logging into Steam Client would then use a local server where u are, thus most likely won't allow game-play while in another country, or where prohibited. Each game is different though.

But I know that most games simply will refuse to work due to u logging into a Steam server in another country. My sister has a long list of game library through Steam, she purchased them all in USA but is working now in South Korea, and while Steam Client works, her games do not for the time being until she comes back, or moves to a country that would allow them to work.

Next time do not use an american address for amazon purchases when you are living in the uk.
