Motioninjoy (or DS3 tool) is not working
All I get is a white page. It's like one of those pages you get when your browser was trying to load a webpage but failed and all you get is a white page with plain old text and clickable options but they don't do anything. I tried uninstalling Motioninjoy, and then reinstalling it but I still get the same thing. Is this happening to anyone else as well?

Having the same problem. Tried installing motioninjoy on my laptop and all I would get is a white page, and nothing would load. What's weird is it was working completely fine on my desktop just a few minutes ago, then I uninstalled motioninjoy to try something else, which didn't work, and re-installed motioninjoy and had the same white page issue. This is with ver 0.6.0005.

I tried installing other versions of motioninjoy, but I still get a white page. I tried running motioninjoy on my laptop, but I didn't get a white screen, it actually loaded motioninjoy. I tried using Better DS3, but for some reason it's not detecting my ps3 controller.

Yep same is happening for me, tried deleting roaming data, and re-installing but not working. Anyone know any other software to get ps3 controllers to work on PC?

Actually you can run it locally by downloading the folder from {LINK REMOVED}, and copying this to your Program Files/MotioninJoy folder. When starting up DS3 tool click local and works as before :)

Just tried the local thing and it worked, but instead of copying it directly into MotioninJoy folder, I had to paste it into Program Files/MotioninJoy/ds3 folder instead.

How do you start up "locally"? I pasted that folder into DS3 and can't figure out what you mean

Don't use motionjoy. It's Malware[emulation-general.wikia.com]..

Use SCP Driver instead :

Having tried Motion Joy, Better DS3 and SCP (Scarlet Productions) before, your best bet is probably to switch to SCP since it's easy to install and should work for anything on steam (meaning anything that has 360 controller support). I still use Motion Joy myself since it has features SCP doesn't (spcifily PS1/2/3 emulation) and the file provided by Kinsele2 fixed my broken version of Motion Joy.

SCP install video i used (pay attention to annotations if you have trouble on the last step)

For anyone who is having trouble with the "local" file for motion joy and doesn't want to give up on it make sure
- you run DS3_Tool.exe as admin (that was my mistake as stupid as it sounds)
- the "Local" file is in the same location as "DS3_Tool.exe"
- you click local in the Motion Joy application, just right of the home icon in the top left.
Motion joy is often reported as spyware

I tried everything, but it only works. I recommend. it is necessary only to include scp server
DON'T USE MOTIONJOY
