Advice me some stealth multiplayer games?

Please advice me some good multiplayer games (preferably with knife stealth)...

it should:
-be a multiplayer game (oh yeah)
-enough players
-somekind of levelling system

it should NOT:
-be a game happening in past (modern or futuristic games only please)
-stealth ONLY game... I want to fight rushers and campers with stealth, not fight stealth players with stealth
-be full of cheaters
-be a game full of radars/scanners/similar crap (unless there is a counter to them, like Ghost in call of duty)
-be a game where maps are not good for stealth (for example Ghost Recon: Online has awful maps for stealth)


Just a little example, I like stealth in CoD: Black Ops 2. I can put on stealth perks, equip only a knife, and play like a ninja. Its great. Beating the rushers who have weapons by using just a simple knife and my brain.
I also liked to play Battlefield 3 by only using the knife on REGULAR servers (all guns alowed).

Sounds like you want to be able to kill everybody else while they doesn't even have any way to notice or find you.

May I suggest you level a toon in some PvP MMORPG, and then camp the newbie areas?

Yes, I forgot about that, I already own that game.
It has some great potencial, but to be honest, the multiplayer was absolutely frustrating and had no sign of stealth. There are scanners, readers, sensors, and similar crap. Plus the mouse movement is very sluggish, althrough it doesnt matter that much to a knife-user.

I wanted to get COD:Ghosts, and I even tried it during free-weekend, but it lagged as hell. It was fun, but optimalisation is horrible.


What about Far Cry 3 multiplayer? Does anybody have experience with that? Are knife takedowns from behind available in MP mode too? Are there enough players online to enjoy the game?

Well, the people who play the non-stealthy part want their share of fun aswell. If you want a game where you can fool people who can't help themselves against you, play Deus Ex in singleplayer.

Iam not really into single player games, once I complete them, there is nothing to do for me.
Except for sandbox games of course. Will keep an eye on that Deus Ex however.

The thing is, multiplayer games have to be balanced. So it's next to impossible to find the game you want. They will always have some sort of scanners and stuff to make it balanced.

Anyway, check out AvP. The Predator has to use stealth to overcome it's foes.

This misses out on multiplayer, but Mark of the Ninja is one of the best stealth games I've played. It's like a 2D platformer stealth game.

I found a nice trick which gives me giant FPS boost in SC: Blacklist, so after I get enough of Deus Ex, I will be playing that... Since the multiplayer of SC:B becomes suddenly much better when FPS jumps from 50 to 150. Its also very easy to kill people, because movement reacts much better, and mouse acceleration dissappears.
