Account Creation Nightmare
This is the second game that I have purchased off of Steam that is all but totally broke. I am fed up with buying Steam Games that makes a person have to register twice with activation codes that the 3rd party company does not acknowledge. I bought Final Fantasy XIV CE and it won't send me a confirmation code at all to reclaim my old account or make a new account.

Fix this or I'm going to file a complaint with Better Business Bureau.

We buy these games from Steam because it is supposed to be easy. But, when running into abysmal nightmares like this... I can take my money somewhere else...

FFXIV requires a Square Enix account.

I don't know what errors and issues you are having,

I sympathize. In the future, I would suggest reading the store page carefully and not buying any game that lists 3rd-party DRM or requires additional account creation. The more layers of software, the greater the likelihood of errors.
I unfortunately do not know how to fix your issue. Don't waste your time with the Better Business Bureau, though. Valve doesn't care what they think, and the BBB has become something of a scam these days--companies essentially pay to get their seal of approval. If there is a problem with the Square Enix account, you should contact their support. If the problem is on Steam's end, you should contact Steam support.

Apparently his issue is fixed, cause he's playing FFXIV right now.

FFXIV isn't just a game with a 3rd party DRM. It's an MMO with a monthly fee.

Issue is NOT fixed!

So what exactly is your issue? Did you create a Square Enix account? Or do you have an existing Square Enix account (from say... FFXI?).

When you right click on the game in your library, is there an option to view the CD Key?

I have an existing Square Enix account but I could not get past the login despite resetting my password several times. I attempted to create a new account with a different E-Mail and it won't send me a confirmation code to activate my game.

I connected my Steam Account with Square Enix and it won't let me manually input the code (The CD Key from Steam) from there either.

I had a problem similar to this with Anno2070 and the Tech Support at Anno 2070 took so long that I gave up. (about 2 weeks)

I'm just tired of wasting money...

From what you're describing it sounds like the issue is with Square, not Valve or Steam. Valve's responsibility bascially ends with the fact that the game you bought ended up on your account. If you can't get your old account info or it isn't letting you input a code you need to talk to Square, not Valve.

Square Enix... I never thought I'd find a customer service that was worse than Perfect World Entertainment.

This company needs to be banned from America...

If a company can not afford to provide customer service for it's product in another country, then it has no business operating in that country at all...

Square Enix resolved issue. You know what shocked me the most was that they apparently rolled all charachters over from the Final Fantasy game that this one replaced. I still have all my old charachters.

I can see how this would mess up the Registration process. Game is actually reeally good. They put a lot into the storyline. Maybe I'll make it above level 30 this time. XD
