Steam and Uplay
so if you buy a Uplay game on steam and start it, steam creates a new uplay account if you don´t have one.
but where can you find the account data?
because i bought uplay games on steam, changed the computer, and when i try to log into any uplay game, it says that i need to log in with my uplay account.

but i don´t have any account data.

does anyone know what to do? appart from sending love letters to steam and uplay support?

Well I know it opens up the uplay browser... so maybe try and find an "account" tab. Or try logging in with what your steam credentials would be.
You should be able to do an account recovery from ubi.com using your email address.
steam credentials don´t seem to work.
and the account tab asks for my uplay account name

I just checed. Ubi.com asks for email address. Go there and do the "forgot password".
tried to recover my password from ubi.com introducing my steam email, aaaaaand there is no account with this email.

Then your Ubi account uses another email address.
probably. so how do i find out, what email/password was created from steam for my uplay account?
Not sure, what email addresses do you own? Maybe log into your emails and check for emails from ubi?

(My Uplay account existed before I ever purchased a Uplay game through Steam, so I cannot tell you for sure).

Try all email addresses you have.
Does Steam really create a uplay account? Isn't there a security question or account validation procedure to complete?

Steam doesn't. You create your own Uplay account.
I thought so. I already had an account but I had to ask as it sounded odd.
I assumed it opened Uplay and you created an account yourself, but since I didn't go through that process I didn't want to say anything and look like a fool if it was wrong :)

If you dont have an uplay account, create one.
If you have one, and you log into it, the game is tied to that uplay account forever

it doesn´t seems to be that easy.
i tried all my emails, and 1 had a uplay account linked to it. but when i log in into this account, i find only my ps3 games, and on the pc the game list is completely empty.

the last time i purchased a uplay game on steam was anno2070. so when i started the game, it logged into uplay (no idea what the account name was) and i had to bind the cd key to that account. but on the only uplay account i have access to, there is no anno2070 nor any of the other uplay games i purchased on steam.

i even can "activate" my already used steam anno 2070 cd key on uplay (i activated that key months ago).
don´t know if its a bug or a feature
just tried my splinter cell cd key, and it´s already used on annother uplay account.
