hi when i log in to steam in my new computer it says my ip is in "NEWPORT WALES GB" but i don't live even near wales is it a problem? im worried about hackers thats all,

type my ip address in google & see if it matchs the one you've got or try this this http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/find-computers-ip-address#1TC=windows-7

Click the verify link in the email to see your IP address and the IP address of the login location.

The IP location is very inaccurate in Steam for some reason.
The text on the right is your IP address and assumed location based on IP address (which can be wrong location but correct IP) and the text on left is the login attempt details.
If both right and left says the same stuff and the text colour is blue then you can safely login, if the text is red however it means that it's not the same and you shouldn't login.

For example, it always has said the capital city of my country for my location when I live 170km away from the capital city.
