Report a translation problem
I don't want to necro this thread but I came across it while searching for the same issue. I mean come on, I live in Auckland yet there's no main city names? They don't even have our capital under the names. They legit divided our suburbs into their own states/provinces when NZ doesn't even have states or provinces... This would be such a nice fix
Valve gets a lot of that data from geonames.org, which has a link at the bottom of almost every page. It's down there ↓.
and so there's no way we can actually try to get them to change it? and I just went and had a look at that myself, the information deisplaye is nothing near what they've put on steam. I can actually see our cities etc there...
The list hasn't been updated from the geonames site to Steam far longer than this thread has been here.
Hopefully when the UI update is complete, this will be resolved.
