What should I not trade for?

Do not trade for anything that cannot be added into the trade window within Steam. The most common examples of these scenarios are the following:
Trading items/gifts for money outside of the Steam Community market. You cannot add wallet credit or any form of money into the trade window. A common example of this is trading for items/gifts in return for money via PayPal.
I doubt paypal accept a screenshot of your steam trade history.

This is true but do you think steam support could grant me the chat log between me and the scammer?
I posted that FAQ so you may become aware were you are and what you asking help for :)

no steam support does not provide anything like that.
I am one of the people who dont even think they keep chatlogs.
Paypal cannot help you with trading of virtual intangible goods. Best of luck convincing paypal otherwise. Valve cannot help you if you decided to trade outside the system. This is your punishment for not following Valve's rules and protocols. You are essentially screwed. You could ask your bank to file a charge-back but of course that will just cause problems for your paypal.

PayPal do not support any trading of virtual items. This is a dead end.
Not supposed to be trading virtual goods for money anyway. It is way to easy to scam or get scammed.

Very unlikely. Chat history is evidence you should collect and provide to either Steam Support or PayPal to back up your case; it's not something you can request.
