But I don't understand your separation of SKSE execution and Skyrim. My SKSE Shortcut automatically starts Skyrim when I press it, and only Skyrim.
Launch the game via running skse_loader.exe. .If you use a desktop shortcut to launch Skyrim normally, just update the shortcut to point to skse_loader.exe instead of TESV.exe or SkyrimLauncher.exe.
.......If you use the 'skse_loader' exec then the middle button doesn't work but if you enter using either of the other two execs, that button will work but any mod using SKSE doesn't. That leaves me with the choice of using either the mod or the middle button. No way have I ever been able to use both.
You can program it to do whatever you want it to do. On the desktop I usually have it set as 'ENTER' but in most games I find setting it as 'E' to be most useful.
Thanks for the suggestion but I am way, WAY beyond that level of simple error fixing.
