Ordering a digital game from Gamestop site..

Im a little confused and I am wondering if I order a game (Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition) from Gamestop that if they send me a Product Key that I can activate through Steam. Because that is what I would like is to have it on Steam. :) On the page and on the Specifications it says: "GameStop App must be installed in order to download software." Which makes me more confused. Could you guys/gals help me out? Thanks in advance! :D

Note that we see the game requires Steam, which is good. Thus what you will do is

1) BUy the game
2) Download the app (yes you have to)
3) register the game with Gamestop
4) Select teh game and press "Product Code"
5) input this code into Steam
