Path of Exile. may not seem like much, but it is by far one of the best games ive ever played. so happy to have steam support for this now ^_^

If you dont mind subscription based then FF: A Realm Reborn is nice. The game is $30 then another $13 a month for half a year.

Tbh Guild Wars 2 and/or Dragon Nest are your best options. GW2 requires one-time purchase and it's free forever. Including all story quests they keep adding even now. Although at this rate I think people in GW2 shifted into mostly PvP area. Dragon Nest is very fast paced action oriented MMO. GW2 - fully open world and DN is more instance based. No offense to everyone, but paying monthly fee to play a game is stupid... so I don't recommend any monthly subscription game. DN is f2p and GW2 is buy once play forever.

Again, no offense to those who are suggesting elder scrolls online, but come on... 60$ + 15-30$ per month... not only that's unpleasent, but somewhat stupid. And I have a feeling population will drop after first month after game start.

It wouldn't be so bad a price if the game was... Good.

But so far from what they've allowed us to play, it is lacking in every aspect. It's not a Good MMO, and it is not a good ES game. Can't get into too many details since the NDA and all that, but it's definitely lacking in all aspects.

As somoone who never touched an Elder Scrolls game, there is really nothing to hook me in and want to play it. From what I hear, it's like a poorly done multi-player Skyrim.

With dated graphics, poor gameplay, and no cross platform play. Some BS about not being able to balance PVP on console vs PC if they let them play together. So removing cross platform across the board was their answer.

Well I'm thinking of going back to TOR (Star Wars: The Old Republic)
it give more of a MMORPG feel than Path of Exile. The Free2Prance is a bit of a joke, so you can invest how much you want.
