If you don't enter any 3rd party websites which promise you free Steam games and you apply some common sense, you won't get your account hijacked.

Hacked isn't the word for it anyway, because no hacking takes place. It's phishing.

steam accounts do not get hacked if thats what you mean.

if you mean hijacked you probably get some emails from steam you did not trigger that give it away.

I went offline and got paranoid, probably just Steam being buggy.

It's the Steam -servers. Have no worry.

there is no login for the friends messenger no need to get paranoid over it.

if you get logged out of steam you can worry.

Dont think its been "Attacked" most porbably the servers just playing up with the amount of people on them at one point. They will fix nothing to worry about.. :)

The Steam servers are still unacceptably unstable, especially to consider Steamboxes are to rely heavily on the platform.

There is a link that causes you to possibly lose your account/ items by doing phishing.
It has though one flaw that is easy for you to see if you watch it, the word "comminity" instead of "community", which makes it a hacker/ phisher.

I just lost my unusuals and couldn't log in for over half a hour, so please do not click the url with that word! I am serious!

use the tools every browser has to check an URL.

I use roboform for my passwords that also tells me it is not a steam domain.
RustyDelcon Jan 31, 2014 @ 2:10pm
I can't change anymore my password or secret question.
What do I do???
spoof Jan 31, 2014 @ 2:11pm
if you are logged in to steam it should be easy to change.

or dont you have steam guard enabled?
RustyDelcon Jan 31, 2014 @ 2:18pm
I have it enabled, but it just doesn't show it.
They are disabled. Password and Secret Question.
