Having trouble getting YouTube video to play on STEAM

I have a YouTube video i'm trying to add to my video content from YouTube, but the video won't play. I'm getting an error message stating HTML5 format unsupported by this browser, what do I have to do to get my video to work with STEAM?

Your browser does not currently recognize any of the video formats available.

I keep seeing this message but no video, pls help.

video is listed in my video content but it won't play, trying to add this video to my guide on STEAM but it won't play. Get message when i try to play.

it plays from youtube in my Chrome browser just fine, need it to work with STEAM.

Hm. A good first step would be to delete your Steam cookies. Don't really know where they are, browse the Steam folder for someting that looks like a browser cache.

that's pretty vague mate, you don't know the cache folder name? Don't want to delete the wrong files.

A Bing search came up with http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1434869
At the end, it's the htmlcache folder you're after, there's a file named Cookies inside. I bet, there are the cookies.

An AVI video i post months ago plays just fine.

Give me a link to that video on Steam and we'll see if it doesn't work in general or just for you.

Runs perfectly fine. I wouldn't worry if I were you. You know the video afterwards and if other people can watch that, you're fine.
