Good co-op/multiplayer to play with my girl?
So my girlfriend is just getting into PC gaming. She wants to play some games with me really bad but she doesn't like the whole "kill everyone in sight" multiplayers I play. So stuff like DayZ, Rust, Insurgency, TF2, etc, she doesn't want. She likes Don't Starve, and other games where there is killing, but it's the "I have to kill to survive that isn't players". If you can understand that concept good, if not, please don't leave criticisms like "Oh, your girlfriend is a tree-hugger." thats not it, she just doesn't like the idea of killing real people for mindless reasons even if it is a game. So, I need you guys' help for a good co-op/multiplayer to play with my girl. The only thing that comes to my mind is Terraria, Starbound, and 3089 (and 3079). I've looked multiple times but I am unsure what would be something we could put serious hours into. Thanks for the help guys, and forum admins: sorry if this is the wrong place to put this, I don't use the forums a whole lot. Thanks again

me and my girl just had a blast playing through dead space 3 co-op. she doesnt liek shooters, but something about dead space got her hooked. since then shes played through dead space 1 and halfway through 2! lol
Terraria and Starbound are both good choices.

They both offer a lot of things to do beside killing things: exploration, mining, building your home... Sadly, in case with those, setting up multiplayer may be tricky if you are not a technically-minded person like me.

Dungeon Defenders is another game that might interest her - while the game is about killing things, the focus is on planning your defenses rather than just mindlessly shooting/hacking enemies. (The game has action elements as well, but those are secondary to building proper defenses.)

What about shooting in monsters/zombies/aliens (Zombie Panic, No More Room In Hell, Realm Of The Mad God)?
And what about strategies & TCGs?

I know its Tower Defense, but its the best Tower Defense. Pixel Junk Monsters. Or try Sanctum.

Yeah I know how to run servers. I film for youtube so it was essiential I learned how to run a server for my friends to film. And I think she'll love Starbound. I clocked like 50 hours in Terraria and already sick of it, I know she would enjoy it but I wont. Thank ya man :3
