TRIDEF 3D not working with STEAM

Hello everyone,
The latest update to the Steam PC platform has caused all my Steam Games to stop working with the TriDef 3D software. The Games in Steam still work normally, but just not in 3D with the TriDef software. TriDef still works with non-Steam Games though. In the TriDef Games properties there is the 'rungameid' present also, as reading another thread it said that needs to be there for TriDef to work but it has not made any difference.
When I start 'Launch' a Game within the TriDef window there is something that unpacks/installs every time before the games starts, it is that quick I have not been able to see what it is....the game proceeds to start but not in 3D....any answers on how to fix.
I have 3x LG D2770 3D monitors set up in triple screen....triple screen 3D in just magic :)

TriDef and Steam have worked amazingly well for me in the past number of years that I have had it, one Steam Update has stopped all that...Any answers appreciated.

Kind regards
M D Gourley

OMG, it happened again. Steam kills Tridef!

After i had installed the Steam Beta, Tridef run smooth.
Right now i want try Borderlands 2 for free, install the game, configure it and restart the client by Tridef. Steam Beta updates to a new version. Forgotten to deactivate for beta tests in the steamoptions. My guilty. The game started and ...

... NOTHINGS. No Tridef, no messages, no effects. ^^

@Valve, plz read this thread from the beginning and ... - Same procedure like last year? No, same pro... !

It's working for me. Try to install the beta update(steam/settings/account/steam beta update available). First install the Steam normaly and then go to settings to beta update and restart the Steam. And then open the Tridef window and automatticaly add games. The games should work in 3d.

Yo Marius,
the problem isn´t that i don´t know how to get Tridef work with Steam-Beta. The problem is Steam that installed a new Beta AND THAN an old version over the new. The old beta doesn´t work. Have to prevent after install the new beta that the old beta reinstalled over the new. HiHi, sounds crazy and it´s crazy. I don´t why my client means it has to install 2 different beta versions.
Right now i´m on making a backup of the games and delete all steamfiles again. Then i will install the client and the first beta. Unchecking the beta download after the first installation and hope that will keep the working version.

Well! Reinstallation finished.

I could see if i unchecking the option for beta updates Steam will install the old standard version (1390852599) again. This version isn´t work like we know. I have to check alltime for the beta test. Beta Client (1391728617) works.

@ anyone running SKSE with TriDef.

SKSE skse 1 06 16 doesn't work. Use Alpha SKSE here http://skse.silverlock.org/beta/skse_1_07_00_installer.exe

Hi 2ms,
Uninstall Steam completely, then restart your PC and start to install Steam again. After Steam installed go to settings and change the beta Steam. After the change in the beta, will ask you to restart Steam. Package version that i have is:1391822303.
Should work. Try again and if it still does not work contact the steam support.
Good luck.

@Goz I have been running SKSE and Tridef through this whole process and I havent had any issues with it. I set up my tridef skyrim properties to run SKSE not sure if that is any help.
So I found a fix that seems to work...as unethical as it may sound. Unfortunately Steam isnt really giving us any other choice and I honestly wouldnt be surprised if they were paid off by Nvidia to only allow their 3D technology to work. So anyways pirated or cracked games do not require Steam in order to work. So I went ahead and downloaded the cracked versions of some games I already legally own. Because they do not require Steam to work, tridef pops up and works perfectly with those games. Anyways it is a hassle and I would rather not do that. One thing is certain though, if Steam does not address this issue I will be requesting a refund on some games I recently purchased that I was excited to play in 3D

@Chris Hansen the problem has already been fixed if you use the beta patch available under your steam settings

The new beta steam didn't work with Tridef.
Steam beta version : 1396481899 (02/04/2014) >.<

Someone know how can I download one other steam's version?
jtricozzi 5 ABR 2014 a las 10:43
Seems to be working fine for me are you running any background programs like a video capture ie. Fraps, Overwolf??
Gunn 5 ABR 2014 a las 10:45
No I haven't :/

Do you have Batman Arkham Origins? Or Duke Nukem? because they didn't work in 3D but The Witcher works fine. It's strange that only some games didn't work (Batman worked before this update).
