TRIDEF 3D not working with STEAM

Hello everyone,
The latest update to the Steam PC platform has caused all my Steam Games to stop working with the TriDef 3D software. The Games in Steam still work normally, but just not in 3D with the TriDef software. TriDef still works with non-Steam Games though. In the TriDef Games properties there is the 'rungameid' present also, as reading another thread it said that needs to be there for TriDef to work but it has not made any difference.
When I start 'Launch' a Game within the TriDef window there is something that unpacks/installs every time before the games starts, it is that quick I have not been able to see what it is....the game proceeds to start but not in 3D....any answers on how to fix.
I have 3x LG D2770 3D monitors set up in triple screen....triple screen 3D in just magic :)

TriDef and Steam have worked amazingly well for me in the past number of years that I have had it, one Steam Update has stopped all that...Any answers appreciated.

Exactly the same happens to me. Tridef works without any issues... but not with Steam games. Actually, it even works with some Steam games that use GWL like Dark Souls, but not with most of Steam games like DmC, Castlevania, Skyrim...

Also, it's worth mentioning that not only the 3D does not work, but even the layout of Tridef (you can open it pressing numkey 0) is not appearing. It's like if Tridef couldn't see that a game is starting.

same here. im so sad. all the money i put into my set up and now its useless!
there better be a update to fix this. i played all my games in 3d. come on steam!

Has anyone had any luck? Same problem here, Tridef is not working in Steam. Works in Origin and non-steam games.

Update: Installed the Tridef Beta drivers (3.8.1 b1) and I could play some Steam games with Tridef (Outlast, Sir You are being Hunted) but others will still not work (Skyrim, New Vegas, Blood Dragon).

I just used Tridef yesterday and then updated steam this morning and am having the same issues not sure what happened in this last update but it sucks

One thing that I noticed is that steam completely restarts whenever I use tridef not sure if thats any help to the support team

The update from Steam is pretty normal, I think. I had it everytime I loaded a game with Tridef during the last months, while the issue with 3D not working is much more recent, I think (though I cannot be totally sure as I have been playing Dark Souls for weeks and it's one of the few games working in 3D)

This happened to me too. I always play in 3D so it's kinda pointless if I can't. Luckily Uplay is still working with TriDef.

I tried a work around...use windows RESTORE and roll back to an earlier version where you think TriDef was working...test it, and if it works, clone the drive, I used 'Acronis True Image' software that I already had...to an external usb 3.0 drive. Then unplug the external drive, use Windows RESTORE to UNDO the roll back to the latest version (the one where it does not work)...so now I have a Windows operating system and all my programmes on the external usb 3.0 drive and can start up the TriDef software and my Steam Games that did not work after the update, work now. WARNING: Just do not go on-line as the external usb drive will update Steam and TriDef will stop working again. This has worked for me....but remember, the roll back will not have any of your latest Game Updates or Patches.

Same problem here. Since steam update, tridefignition in portal 2 and left4 dead 2 is not working anymore.
