My Counter Strike Turned into half life 2!

My counter strike turned into half life 2, but I have never bought hl2. It is legitement, and I can play it. But it is effecting all my other games, my gmod is not working because it need cs, which is not working. Please help!

I recently had a similar problem where Portal was showing up as Counter-Strike Source, and following this guide on Steam Support fixed my issue: Refresh Your Steam Files. Hope this helps!

In most cases it is not necessary to flush / delete you’re config files or create any new accounts. Simply try this first:
