Prepaid MasterCard has insufficient funds? But i just bought it -.-
So I just went out, bought myself a 50 dollar prepaid mastercard, getting ready to buy myself CounterStrikeSource with garry's mod and all that, 24.99 total. Put everything in, double checked... all down ready and packed, make it through the look at what you put down page, click purchase, then this pops up "Your purchase has not been completed. Your credit card information has been declined by your credit card company. Note that in some cases, your credit card company may put a 'hold' on funds in your account, but you will not be charged. After correcting any errors in the information displayed below, please try your purchase again." I searched google to see other people had the problem but no answer to why, or how to fix it... It may be a mass thing cause many of the people said they had the same problem during the same time... Any help would be lovely.

If the card failed then exactly what the message said may happen can happen: Your funds aren't withdrawn but instead are put on "hold" for several days until the card company verifies that the transaction with Valve failed. At that time, you'll get access to the funds back.

The question is why did it fail? Have you registered your address to the card?

Can I use a gift card or virtual card?

It is possible to order through Steam with a gift card from one of the credit card issuers listed above, however, the card needs to be one that can be used to make online purchases and we require that the address information and security code for the card be an exact match to the gift card or virtual card issuer's system.

We recommend that you inquire with the card issuer to ensure you can use the card to make online purchases and have the correct address and security code to complete the transaction. In some cases you can register your billing address through the gift card company's website.

Yes, did that just before the post, well... the site basically just had me register the postal code, nothing else.
