Counter-Strike: Source replaced by Half-Life 2?
Just now, on my Mac, I got on and instantly realized my CS:S was gone and Half-Life 2 took it's place. I even went to the shop and went to CS:S to see if I still had it, and I did. It was also downloaded, too, even though I didn't see it in my library. I hit play, and it still brings up Half-Life 2 for me. I have no idea how, at my dads I have a Mac and at my moms a Windows (which I had no issues on) and I only left my Steam alone for about 10 minutes.

Really need help here if anyone has had this problem in the past.

Going to try to restart my computer and see if that fixes it. If you do know anything about this, please still post here. I will post my results when I get back.

Thanks guys, I know this is a hastle, but sadly I just had to completely delete and reinstall Steam. And I mean delete EVERYTHING related to Steam on there. This completely fixed the issue for me, and actually cleared up some games I no longer wanted, even though I had to wait through the night and get off extra early yesterday, it was worth it, so if you're having issues just try that.

You can also do what he recommended, which would be deleting Config files, but if that doesn't work just do what I did, should fix the issue.
What he stated:

I recently had a similar problem where Portal was showing up as Counter-Strike Source, and following this guide on Steam Support fixed my issue: Refresh Your Steam Files. Hope this helps!

In most cases it is not necessary to flush / delete you’re config files or create any new accounts. Simply do this:

Easiest fix ->
1.Log off your account
2. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam or where you installed your steam.
3. Delete 'appcache' folder (Or cut and paste anywhere else)
4. Log in to your account.
5. Cancel remaining wrong updates.

Worked for the most people so far.:
