Different name in DayZ?

My name is "Ongryne" but in DayZ it's andre_000 and so are the saved files for dayz? What's going on? Can somebody help me out?

DayZ now uses your Windows login name. To change your in-game name, simply launch DayZ, wait for the main menu to appear, left click where your name is, and enter your desired name. There is a 15 character limit.
