X-Arcade Solo/Tank joysticks not detected by Steam

Hi all! Is anyone able to use X-Arcade joystick for Steam games? I can't use mine because Steam just won't detect it even though it works and is compatible with every non-Steam pc games. I have updated the X-Arcade with the new trimode pcb but it still is not detected by Steam. tyia

According to x-arcade the issue may be that you are not running it on the 1st mode. It will recognize the tankstick as a keyboard/mouse. I know I have one and on mode 1 you are limited in what you can do on steam. BUT, you can also reset the controls on the game to keyboard and set them to the corresponding button/joystick. The map for mode 1 is in the manual. I play old arcade games and their type on steam . I own all the ones I want to play on the xbox360 and play w/ friends (once I get the adapter). Some of the games are no longer available like the redone missile command which I own. fun but hard. If you have the instruction manual it shows you how to reprogram the tankstick. be sure it is connected directly to your computer and you have a real, not usb w/ adapter, ps2 keyboard attached to the tankstick. Yes it really matters.
