Some of my games suddenly stopped launching

I bought project winter about a week ago, and it was working fine until today. I tried to launch the game and can't get passed the "preparing to launch" phase. I've found that a number of my other games won't launch either. They are:
Project Winter
Phasmophobia
Town of Salem
Raft
VRChat
I have updated my graphics drivers, uninstalled steam, and uninstalled Project Winter, nothing fixed it. I have also noticed that the Project Winter library page is laggy for me, but no other game page is lagging.

I don't know whats causing this and I just want to play my games again, please help me.

and yes, I did try turning it off and on again.

and yes, I did try turning it off and on again.

Try Reinstalling steam and then restarting your computer. Also Verifying the game cache of the games you are trying to play may work.

common mistake is no Spec. ( to many dont have game requirement ) i really dont care if you have worst pc or best in the world

no error msg ( try launch the game.exe from install path )

or is a laptop in wrong mode and dont have gamre requirement because you are in wrong mode
this is game that is near max laptop can handle.

do not have win7/8 or vulkan driver issue or pre-shader cache on ( steam beta client ) flip flop that option to see if that help.

I ran steam as an admin and it worked!

I had the same issue. The game just stopped working all of a sudden. I believe it was after a failed windows update.

What worked for me was I reinstalled DirectX.
