USD Dollar Application in Steam Mena Region

USD shopping system will start on Steam for countries such as Argentina and Turkey on November 20, but will people in Turkey continue to purchase Turkish lira for top-up and balance? Or will the balance be purchased with USD?

Balance will be in USD and converted from the local currency.

In dollars. Your local bank's currency, likely Türkiye Lira, will be converted to dollars when performing the transaction, so is subject to the day's currency exchange rate you perform the transaction at.

If your bank doesn't support foreign currency transactions, you will no longer be able to buy on Steam.

So, if I want to pay in Turkish lira and top up my balance, my balance will be converted to dollars on Steam, whatever the current exchange rate is.

yes. You top up your wallet paying in USD and your bank will do the currency conversion for you.

Even though third party sites are not safe to top up balance, if the bank does not perform foreign exchange transactions, we will have to use them to top up Steam balance. :(

or you change to a bank that supports international transactions in foreign currency

Alternatively, buy physical steam wallet cards in your local grocery store

Unfortunately, they sell it at exorbitant prices in Turkey, and once wallet loading with USD starts, opportunistic scum people will use it a lot, unfortunately :(

is there any update from steam , that Mena region is implemented or not ? as i can see that there is no pricing change today all prices are the same before
