Steam Deck-Discord Mic Not Working

Hello.Untill the last update my microphone was working very well.I used a pair of HyperX Cloud Stinger Core Headsets which have microphone aswell using only 1 3.5Jack cable.Today I tried to play some Dead by Daylight with a friend but my microphone was not working in the app,so I switched to desktop mode and oppened Steam,Settings and I tested my mic and was working fine.
Is anyone having the same issue and is there a fix?🤔

The current workaround seems to be :
- launch a steam vocal, an empty one for example,
- then the mic should work on discord etc.
I didn't test it yet, I cannot test it this week :-/

^^^^^ This actually works! Tested in game mode /w internal Microphone. Kinda buggy still, but discord seems to work after launching discord /w a voice chat running in the background.

Same Problem, it works fine with other App, just discord has Problem

Someone mentioned here that this issue possibly may be due to them changing the LCD drivers for the OLED Deck. OLED Deck owner here and can confirm this issue is also present on the OLED models. This issue had only started after the 3.5.5 update. I'm about to test preview channel now as I saw some people say 3.5.6 and onwards has resolved this issue.

I was wondering if anyone had any idea or something about the steam deck microphone. I have one but some reason I can't use the microphone for my video making. Is there a alternative or something I can do?

I recommend using headphones with built in mic.
