Game Banned - Hardware Banned?

My account has been hacked or hijacked by someone and they did nothing but log into my account to cheat on rust :/ and I know I can't do anything because my steam account is my responsibility but I've kind of moved on from that. Was wondering if this was a regular ban from FacePunch to not let me play that particular game or if they have hardware banned my computer (Steam:Auth GameBanned) that is what rust says when I try to join a server.

I've appealed when I first got banned because someone 'cheated' on my account which EAC doesn't tollerate even if it wasn't me

If I show solid evidence of me never cheating and that I have been hijacked by someone logging in from Hong Kong can that get me unbanned? Even if I directly message a game dev or admin? Are they even able to remove an EAC ban???

Well, that's that then. As far as I know Rust does utilize Hardware Bans.

It falls on the game devs but usually they do not care who cheated as all that matters is your account used cheats in a game and simply saying it wasn't you will not mean anything as this would be too easy to say to bypass a ban.

Don't even need a VPN. Screenshots mean literally nothing as they can be edited. I pity the fool thinking of screenshots as proof, I bet the person also thinks that all those fotos in magazines are real. That this model's skin really is THAT smooth, that this action cam really was photographed on a boat (instead of a studio with waves edited into the image afterwards).

Image editing is even older, than computers are.

Yeah, easily manipulated, want me to show you a login from Gotham City? Without editing the screenshot in any way. I'll simply edit the website using the tools in a common webbrowser. Chrome can do it, Firefox can do it, pretty much any mainstream browser can do that.

Thanks again for every steam user to still be toxic after I asked a question that I wanted a serious answer too, my original question was still never answered by one person because you lot are nothing but trolls trying to start an argument over anything. So what abt the screenshot, it was a legitimate question and just because I said that you all got lured in to flame me abt it and make me look stupid, I'm sorry I don't spend every possible hour I have on this. I'm just a casual player, I barely play on steam in the first place so I'm sorry if I don't know how to edit the website or how to properly use a VPN. As usual thanks for the help everyone

If you didn't cheat on your computer then why would you think you would be hardware banned? The account has the ban from that particular game.

No, any legitimate EAC ban cannot be appealed. This includes account misuse by account hijacks because you as the account owner are responsible for it anyway.

Since you attempted to log into Rust with the EAC ban, it's likely EAC has now stored your HWID or any past HWID you have used, if they didn't so after the cheat was detected. Do not try to rebuy Rust on a new account.
