Report a translation problem
Just like you i played with a DS3 controller, but now that i have a PS5 controller, it seems like the joysticks are more stiff, and the tracking can be complicated, unless i aim.
If i find a fix, i'll keep you updated.
(Optional) what i also did was to use HidHide tool, there's a tutorial on Youtube by Ali N'cir, i did it to hide the double input because it seems wrong for me and i thought that it could cause lag.
Window sand steam willl not fix the issue if this is own Brand controller issue, and windows do not male drivert and software to other Brand product.
do check steam controller setup, if you need to make own controller generic setup.
