Game Sudden Regional Block

there is a MMORPG called Digimon Master Online, the game is kinda P2W but it's still enjoyable without spending money. But suddenly the game do region block to all steam user (from global to NA only) without any notice. But weirdly, the non-steam user (user who use the publisher account(GameKing)) didn't get region blocked. Now all the steam user player cannot access the game without VPN, but VPN might make us got banned.

are there anyway to make steam involved in this problem and help the steam user in that game? many player spent a tons of money on that game and got blocked suddenly without any notice, we feel scammed. we can't report the game store page too since it's region blocked

It is possibly due to something from your government or a decision by the devs/publisher that locked it in your region.
Steam has no control over that.
Please note that use of VPN's to circumvent regional restrictions is a breach of the Steam Subscriber Agreement and could result in the suspension of your account.

so i guess steam has no control when game suddenly region block without any notice when user still spend money on the game, sadge

They blocked loads of countries lately. Nothing Steam can do. If you want a change complain to the devs.

There's already a very meaty discussion thread so I don't think they really care.

90% of the time these kinds of issues are an IP distribution rights issue, likely a licence expired
