How Does GeForce Now get into your Steam Account?
Hello, I've used GeForce Now on a spare Steam account in the past and I was wondering how exactly they log into your account and what information they can get from it. I understand the company is owned by NVIDIA, but I'm just really cautious about using GFN because if NVIDIA can get something like your Steam password, I don't want to connect my Steam account. So, does anyone know exactly how it works and if NVIDIA has access to Steam login credentials? Thanks!

when you use geforce NOW you're using a remote computer and has to login in your steam account.

unless things changed since the last time I've used it then I don't think they keep any login information from their side , when I've used it in the past I had to enter my password for every session I've opened on it.

On my throw away account, I have never needed to sign in. It's always automatically signed in when I open any steam game.

you had to have logged in at least once, but after that it can keep logging you in perpetually just like Steam does normally.

So do they take your login info to login every time or is it just Steam?

I've figured it out. When connecting my steam to GFN, Steam said that my login credentials will not be shared. Only problem I've had when connecting Steam is that some of my games are not showing up in my GFN library. Only 7 out of the several compatible games appear in the library. Not sure what causes this. If anyone is reading this, do you know why?

Thats just the synching of library. When you play games with anything there, you login with a normal login window.
As you do on your computer.

Only steam games get put in a list by synching. Others you must search manually.

Dont forget to use 2fa for geforce now account.

Only through fake sites that exist to harvest login information. Legitimate steam trade links are safe.
