Game refunds In a set time period!

Hi everyone. I've refunded a few games recently and i'm just trying to figure out something, To avoid anything bad happening to my Steam account, is there an exact limit to how many times you can refund games in a set period of time?

There's no described set limit but after about 3 in quick succession you will receive a reminder about the refund policy, it's use and abuse. If you then refund more after that within a few weeks then there are a couple of warnings issued. If you don't refund anything for a while after that, the 'cooldown' of warnings resets.

If Support believe you are abusing the system then they will block your account from using the feature no matter how many refunds you've done or have on record. It's always best to choose a reason and leave an explanation rather than just refunding too.

No. The reason why there's no set/communitcated limits is an obvious one: the moment there is a clear formula, people will game it.
Instead, you chould change your purchase behaviour long-term.
That said, you get a clear warning when you're in danger of losing your refund privileges. So if there's no warning, you'll be fine.

Here is the exact warning you get in the email if you are refunding too much:

It looks like you’ve requested a significant number of refunds recently. If you often have problems with your purchases, please submit another ticket so that we can help you solve these issues.
Please note, that the Steam Refund Policy is not intended as a way to try out games for free. If we have reason to believe that the refund system is used in this manner, we may decline future refund requests.

If you do get it (I've had it once or twice) just make sure you buy some games and keep them and don't ask for any more refunds for a couple of months and you will be fine.
