so how do i put a box link (with medium icon of the picture on the left side) in a discussion post?

Copy and paste the URL at the top of the popup that appears when you click a screenshot.

I think that you just need to copy and paste the URL into the post. I will try it with one of your screenshots:

If you do not see the URLs in the Steam client, you can turn them on by clicking on "Steam" in the top left corner of the client, click on "Settings", "Interface", and then check the box next to "Display Steam URL address bar when available".

Yes, you can find the URLs by clicking on the screenshots in your Activity. You can also find the URL right after uploading the screenshot by clicking the button on the Screenshot Uploader that says "view online." Or you can click on the "Screenshots" link on the right of your profile and then click on the screenshot.

You are doing something wrong. Note that you can link only screenshots which you have already uploaded to Steam Cloud. Screenshots from your HDD will not work.
