Can't post a review?? Try this.
So for a while people have been having trouble posting reviews. I've had the same problem. You know how it is, you want to review a game, you click "write review" and then you write it all out, you click "recommended"/"not recommended", and then you hit 'post review'...

and then nothing. The button just disappears, or you get "there was an error posting your review". You have to rewrite it or you might be able to copy-paste your entire review and try again, but most of the time it still does diddly squat and you're sat there frustratedly clicking a button that runs off and hides every time you do.

I found something that works though. I was having trouble posting my Resi 4 HD Ultimate review with this very problem. What I eventually did was copy the entire review with Ctrl-C, delete it, and just type in a very short few words as a placeholder, hit send, and it worked.

Then I could go and EDIT my review and put the actual one in immediately. Worked like a charm. Now the review is actually up. Next time you have a problem posting a review, try this out, maybe it'll work for you!

I have the opposite problem, managed to post reviews without a problem, but when I try to edit them later the send button just disappears and nothing happens. It's been going on for several days now, I try every day just in case :/ I had this problem before and as far as I remember it just sorted itself after a while. But still annoying...

After some days of struggling finally managed to edit the reviews from the Steam client instead of Firefox & Chrome I've been trying before.

It finally worked for me - review of a few words, then edit it. Using steam both times.
