Cannot received "the welcome email" when created a support account.
as what i said, I cannot received the email so I also cannot go into the 'ask a question' page..
my username for the support account is (stupid_long).
anyone here can help me to check that??

ok just got my email. i did it on my other sub email acct. i just got my ticket and now i have to wait for them to reply
oh, that's good. I am also waiting for the reply. However, that's really slow...
so what exactly you doing this for?.. you also need trophies?

Im still waiting for a reply since i got my ticket.. since august 7
I have the same problem, and it's been like it for 2 weeks now (since upgrading to win 10, where steam guard rightly kicked in)

My main account (jbozward) can't be accessed as I'm not receiving any of the steam guard mails, so I created this new steam account (jonbozward) so I could create a support account and login using a different email address. Ironically as you said, I can’t create a support account linked to my steam account as you need the validation email that never comes through.

It seems as if my (own) domain is being blocked, as any emails to whatever@mydomain.com are never getting through regardless. There are no spam filters ect when it gets forwarded and guard mails have always come through instantly.

Making the new steam account and using a different email works fine, so I now have a support ticket raised, but that's not been looked at in over a week yet……

Frustrating to say the least……
Interesting Jbozword- my primary question relates to whether the QuakeCon 2015 bundle will work with Windows 10, and given your issues with Win 10 now I am even more spooked about buying it

To be honest, Win10 (loving it) seems fine for gaming. Everything else I have on Origin and Elite Dangerous are fine. It's pretty much Win8.1 at the core so 99.99% of games should be fine.

I just wish Steam would get back to me as it's been 3 weeks now, but most others on here have waited up to 6 weeks by the look of it.
And I'm back.....to just over 3 weeks FYI
