Steam UI Font Changed by Itself & I Can't Change It Back

So I upgraded to Windows 10 a few days ago and when I opened my Steam client after the upgrade the font for the UI changed by itself to one of the other fonts I have installed on my system. I checked the .styles settings in Notepad where you're supposed to be able to change the fonts and it's still set to the default Arial font. I also reinstalled the Steam client and I'm still having the issue. The font that the UI got set to is barely readable and it only has that font in the navigation parts of the UI, the in-game achievement notifications, and all of my library. Is this some kind of bug that happened from the upgrade to Windows 10? I'm soooo tired of this tiny, unreadable font. Please help!

Same problem here. Tried to install another skin, worked for the first time, but after restarting my computer the fonts have changed again.

This problem somehow fixed itself after the first update from Windows 10. No idea how or why but everything is back to normal now. WEIRD.

I am having this same problem. It has not resolved itself, and it makes navigating the client very difficult. Any suggestions?

After reinstalling Steam and getting at least one update it fixed itself. Make sure your Steam app is up to date.

2)open cmd (command prompt) by Winkey + R then type "cmd" or search in Search Windows
3)now type this and press enter:

C:\Windows\Fonts\Arial.ttf

then install the font was apper and enjoy from steam

Year 2016 here, Windows did an update and all the fonts were all super tiny, the Above ^^^ instructions fixed it back to normal like a charm, thanks @curial !!

Thanks, the latest Windows 10 (14316) changed it for me, now it's back to normal.

Hey thanks, had a weird narrow font on Steam after installing the Windows 10 Anniversary Update (1067), but this fixed it. :-)
