PNG Virus?

Was too quick to click on a link and a download started. I managed to stop the download in time (ended up in error) and didnt open any file. Is my account safe? I've changed my password and safety questions etc since then

You probably fine since you didn't open anything, but take the steps necessary to keep your account secure anyway. Also, changing your password and whatnot is something you generally want to do after making sure your computer isn't compromised, so do it again afterwards. Unless you changed it on a different computer, of course.

I was in twitch and got whispered a fake jackpot link, so i downloaded the file and my AV flagged it, and stopped the download before it had time to get on my computer.

Do a scan with https://www.malwarebytes.org/ just to be safe, it's free and great.
