Windows 10/Steam/High Memory Usage (Fixed)
Ok so. when running steam and downloading games and such, eventually Memory usage spikes up to 40%, sometimes even 60%.

it does not do this with just windows core services running, i tested this out by letting my computer run for an hour, with no programs on.

as soon as steam is running for about an hour or more and downloading games, memory usage spikes up, it doesn't even go back down once Steam is exited.

it has not done this with just chrome running, or just skype running, it seems to be just steam. im continually testing this out.

i sent some feedback to microsoft as well, just incase it is on their side and not steams. but if it was a memory leak from Windows itself, wouldn't it do it constantly? even with no programs running? ......

If you own a motherboard with Killer ethernet ports (e2200, e2400) it's most likely the services that come along with their drivers are causing the issue. I have this exact issue for a while now. Uninstalling Killer and all services associated then reinstalling drivers only should fix this for good.

That was a known issue with a set of drivers a couple of updates ago, it's been fixed.

You probably allready know this, but here is a link to the newest drivers.
