Windows 10 and xbox 360 controller

I've recently installed windows 10 and now i cant connect my 360 controller to my pc. I tried doing the detup but it said that it doesn't support it on this version of windows. I tried device manager and everything but still nothing.

Is it a wired of wireless? If wireless, you might have to pair again.

The link you gave is for the wired controller not the wireless. I have the wired control and windows 10 and have had no issues so far.

EDIT: After doing some research, there is a page for troubleshooting the wireless 360 controller and the Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows.

Hey there.. I just get the solution.
Here it is.. the thing is that W10 takes the Home button of the joypad as the activation command for the while-gaming recording app integrated in the system, linked to Xbox on PC.
That's why the pop-up of the Xbox360 Controller Manager doesn't show on screen at pushing the Home button. The happyness comes when you configures the app to don't come up when you press the home button. Then, the Manager works fine. At least for me. Tell me if it works for you as well. And sorry for my bad eng.
