Steam Item Showcase Not Working

I am level 20 and Ive just tried using the item showcase. The item showcase itself loads but when I try to put an item in it the loading goes on forever. Literally forever I left it on and it did nothing. I closed it, opened it a day after and it still has the same problem. Any ideas?

@TwistedFox, see how you see a little arrow on the top of the window when it's loading? Click on that, the items from your inventory should load up. Click on your desired item to feature, then it should come up with an error. Refresh the page and it should work fine.

@ＪＡＭＭＹＢＯ♌, OK, so as you select the Item Showcase, select a box to choose an item. As you click on the box, a window should appear and at the top of that window, it should say "Select an item to feature on your profile" and then a little arrow next.
