Then, it is up to you. Or you can install a software which will force your other applications to be run on the second monitor like Displayfusion or AMP for example, or you can simply move the other applications between monitors manually with Windows-Shift-Left/Right or with the mouse, and most of your applications will remember the monitor they have been showed each times you start them anyway.
Also, do not forget to launch your games in windowed/borderless mode to be able to use your second monitor while playing, otherwise the game will get minimized everytime you press ALT-TAB.
