Problem With WebMoney (Japan), Region, Adding funds not processed
Sorry to bring this up again, but currently I got some error, and been days since I've sent an Email to the so called support team, the very first reply was the OBVIOUSLY answer that "go change the region", I was like YEAH so if that has succeeded I wont be asking u re***ds and going through the tiring long way of asking the support team...

So I emailed again, with a bit more enthusiasm...and been 1 week now still no reply since that very "nice" first reply...

FYI, I was from Indonesia, so my region was in Indonesia and the funds was in my local Rupiah currency, than after I got here in Japan I changed the Region to Japan (which steam kindly detected) and bought a WebMoney card,

Now the problem is, when i want to add funds, after I check the "Must Verify" and proceed, it always returns the "There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance." error, and after every Steam restart my region always automatically changes back to "Indonesia" instead of Japan, and i even noticed that after I successfully changed to Japan, my current wallet value did not change into Yen, but still in Rupiah....

This has been frustrating me, and the obviously not professional "Support Staff" isn't doing anything to even reply my question except for the automated "============== REPLY ABOVE THis LINE" thing....

You think that helped....not really a constructive answer, and really just trying to look intellectual but only know nothing sir...

I think guys like you are employed at the Steam Support team...no wonder they are not helpful

Either use your home country, or add a new payment method from the country you are in.

If you're having issues with a payment method try another one

Or revert back to Indonesia

Your currency will only stay in Japan IF you can validate an existing payment method in Japan LIKE IT SAYS IN THE ARTICLE

You think? I have tried this so called "NEW PAYMENT METHOD", and i dont have CC (I'm those type of people that dont believe in using CC, just a hard cash person), that is why I used the WebMoney, and THAT IS WHAT KEEPS GETTING ERROR MESSAGE, not even in the purchasing stage yet, jsut trying to add funds, if u want to give it a go, move from your country, try logging in to steam, than u try adding funds using local game cards, than maybe you could have somesort of view of what problem I'm having...

i put a 20$ steam wallet card on my account yesterday. tried to use it and have the same error "There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance." no fix in sight. tried every method listed and none work. it is 100% on STEAMS END. real cute bug they have. i give them money and now they keep me from being able to use it.... loads of fun waiting for the customer support........
