Can Steam recognize installed non-steam games?
Hello Steam World!

Needless to say, I play a lot of games. However, many of the games I play are MMOs and they have their own launchers. Some of the MMOs are now on Steam and it likes to recommend them to me. Is there any way to get Steam to recognize that I already have the game so that it doesn't try to recommend it to me or add it to my Queue.

Thanks Community!

Oh boy, I forgot to mention that I was doing that as a temporary solution. I wasn't sure if there's a way to show my non-steam games in my library.

You can click Games and then "Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library." I have all my games in there by doing this.

Thank you both for the tips. Thank you Spawk for the clarification on the recommendation system and thank you ratedx73 for the instruction to how to add non-steam games to my library.
