You're in the beta client and you're using Flash's NPAPI variation?

That's why, I'd recommend to opt-out of the beta, or install PPAPI (which in turns causes in-game web-browser crashes.)

Yes the flash player was downloaded using the adobe updater and its up to date and working on other browsers.

I was using the latest BETA Steam client. My bad for not checking the beta forums first. I switched to "out of beta" and its working now.

One thing is that I supposed to have the "other browsers" flash installed and it works with mozilla, webkit and chromium browsers I have. Thats why I overlooked API incompatibility. Thanks for the replies!
