How to recover APP Manifest files
I recently was trying to get one of my games to work, and the FAQ said to try deleting all of the appcache files. Well I went into the my steamapps folder and saw the appmanifest files and thought that they were the files that the FAQ was speaking of... So I deleted them. Now steam says that all of my games are not installed even though they are in the common folder. I then looked at one guide and it said to select install on the game and then instantly stop the installation. It recovers the appmanifest file, but then won't let me play the game because steam reads it as not completely installed. Is there another way to recover the appmanifest files?
