Dx11 feature level 10.0 is required to run the engine.
Each time I try to play ARK this message pops up and I am unable to play the game which is really fustrating. My windows are updated, and my computer already has Directx11. I've been trying to figure out the problem but no avail. Any suggestions?

There's your problem. The GMA 3100 only supports DirectX 9.

You need a new graphics card. Both because it does not support the version of DirectX required, and because it is significantly weaker than what is required to run the game. However before you buy a video card, I would confirm if the rest of my computer meets the minimum requirements.

Thank you so much! Yeah it turns out my computer doesn't meet the requirements but I probably won't be buying a PC. Do you know any good laptops that are like around 1.5k?

Laptops are not ideal for gaming, as they are somewhat prone to overheating and cannot be upgraded easily, if at all. However if you wish to stick with a laptop:

That would meet your needs. You may wish to customize it to have 8 GB of RAM, as by default it only has 4 GB.

Just cause you have DX 11 in your system, doesn't means your GPU supports it. DX is backwards compatible. But not forwards.

Even if would support, the Intel GMA series is so weak, that not ARK, but most of games will not run properly.

I suggest a normal gaming card. Minimally a GTX 750 or a Radeon 260.
