"Canada Day" sale?

Just leads back to the frontpage... is it only active in Canada?

Steam should really get their regional censoring fixed.

Same issue here. Though Kargor the better idea is just stop censoring for regions period. Steam has the influence and power to tell companies and such to either allow globally or refuse to let it be sold.

Yeah, that would be my preferred solution too -- especially since I'm in Germany, where a lot of stuff gets censored, and non-german Steam stores won't even sell to me (Amazon UK never had such issues back in the days, and other shops selling Steam-keys such as Greenmangaming and the bundlesites don't care as well, usually).

They don't even have to "refuse" anything. They could just SELL this is an extra service, so publishers would simply have to pay extra fees for this. That should stop it too...

There's still the occasional legal censorship like on Wolfenstein that can't just be ignored, but I don't think this has EVER been challenged in court. I'd love to see the gaming industry take up arms in favor of their customers for once...

It appears they fixed the frontpage; I'm getting to the sales page now, through the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ frontpage banner rather than having to take the back door.
