Steam high CPU usage (20% ~ 30%)
For some reason I'm getting a high amount of CPU usage at (20% ~ 30%).
My CPU is an i5-4670k OC @ 4 GHz.
Anybody know why this is?

20% ~ 30% or 25%? What do you use to get this number?

25% could mean 100% of one of your 4 cores. So basically, srcds has a memory leak somewhere.

I had this issue today after updating my source dedicated server, had to revert to older binaries from january2014 for the CPU usage to go back to normal (which is less than 1% when idle)!

Valve, is there something wrong with SRCDS?

I noticed after some recent Steam updates that the Steam Client Bootstrapper in the task manager has a lot higher CPU usage. I goes up to the point that I can hear the CPU fans spinning up when scrolling up and down!
