Big Picture crash on exit
This problem only occurs when using Big Picture. I have no errors when using the standard Steam.

When trying to exit Big Picture, whether using 'Return to Desktop' or 'Exit Steam', the program crashes and a Windows Error appears with 'Steam Client Bootstrapper' is not responding' and asks to close the program or wait for a response.

Also upon closing the Big Picture, I see that it has automatically changed my 'Main Display' to that which Big Picture was running on. But I'm guessing that this is necessary to run the game in full screen on that display, so that's fine.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Steam API v015
Not Beta

Maybe I should try the Beta?

Thank you Seven7. I didn't actually see anything in that list regarding my specific issue but I will try the beta if there aren't any other options.

I'm just hesitant because I'm not sure if this is a problem caused by Steam or my computer. If it is caused by my computer then the Beta probably wont help, right?

Yes. your PC or your hands :)) But sometimes it http://steamcommunity.com/id/john :P

It was caused by a clash with some software called WindowBlinds. Big Picture doesn't seem to like it when I'm running a customized desktop theme.

Finally figured it out, haha. Thought I'd post this in case someone else has the same issue in the future.

i literally pressed "exit big picture mode" and as a result, instead of just exiting big picture mode like the exit button always used to do, it crashed and reset my computer entirely. Now I'm scared to press the "exit" button in general every time I accidently enter big picture mode.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
