What does unpacking an item do?
So I just got the "Barely Attuned Magic Thingy" Staff after crafting the Summer Sale 2014 badge. I noticed that there is a button that says "Unpack..." next to the item and I was wondering what the button does.

So far, it's a Steam community item that is a package. When you unpack it, you turn it into a game item you can use inside that game.

Well, yes. It would be the "same" item.

Ok, so I assume when I do this it means that I can't trade/market the item?
