IF I cancel a buy order you don't GET your money back?!

i list a buy order for the wrong summer card so when i canceled it i didn't get my money back?
is that suposed to happen?

I thought the money is not taken until the purchase actually happens? Were you too late in cancelling?

I thought the money is not taken until the purchase actually happens? Were you too late in cancelling?

Does the order get filled immediately? When I made buy orders several days ago it didn't take the money until the items were purchased and delivered to my inventory. It took several hours from me making the order to me actually purchasing the items.

Nope. Money was taken. Got the email receipt too late to realise I shouldn't cancel. Kind of crap to charge on a purchase that never happened.
